Nangeng Zhang, serving as Chairman and CEO of Canaan, brings with him extensive experience encompassing electronic device design, engineering, manufacturing, quality control, and research and development. He is responsible for formulating and overseeing the company’s overall development strategies and operations. Mr. Zhang’s journey began with a role as an assistant researcher at the Beijing Remote Sensing and Communication Technology Institution, specializing in antenna, detector, photoelectric measuring equipment, and mid-wave infrared camera research and development from August 2005 to July 2008. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electronic information engineering and a master’s degree in software engineering from Beihang University.
